Our story: a passion for growing

Rudnick Petals & Provisions blossomed from a lifelong love of gardening and a desire to create beauty and share joy. Raised with a deep appreciation for growing food and flowers, Esther in Yamhill and Ryan in Central Oregon, we always found a way to garden, even in small spaces.

When we moved to the countryside between Bend and Redmond, we finally had the space and irrigation to grow on a larger scale. The intense summer sun and short growing season here made zinnias a natural fit, alongside dahlias and other seasonal flowers.

What began as a simple roadside bouquet stand quickly grew with incredible support from our local community, often selling out. We're excited to continue expanding our flowers and eventually offer other small-batch farm provisions rooted in the same care, beauty, and connection to the land.

Our values: quality, connection, and care

At Rudnick Petals & Provisions, we believe beauty, quality, and connection matter. Our approach to growing is rooted in patience, stewardship, and working with the rhythms of nature rather than against them. We focus on seasonal flowers that thrive in Central Oregon’s climate, allowing us to grow varieties that are vibrant, resilient, and naturally beautiful.

As a small family farm, we value hands-on care and thoughtful growing practices over mass production. Many of our bouquets are harvested, arranged, and sold within a day or two, giving customers flowers that feel fresher, more personal, and more connected to the season.

We also believe local agriculture helps strengthen community. Whether someone stops by our roadside stand, follows along online, or brings home a bouquet for their table, we hope our flowers create moments of joy, beauty, and connection to the land we call home.

Shaped by Central Oregon's beauty

Growing in Central Oregon shapes everything we do. Our high-desert climate brings intense summer sunlight, cool nights, low humidity, and a relatively short growing season. While those conditions can be challenging, they also produce flowers with especially vibrant color, strong stems, and long vase life.

We’ve chosen varieties that thrive here naturally, especially zinnias and dahlias, and we embrace the rhythm of the seasons rather than trying to force year-round production. The landscape itself also inspires the feel of our farm—open skies, mountain views, dry air, and a balance of ruggedness and beauty.

Because our flowers and future farm goods are grown locally and in small batches, they reflect the character of this region in a way mass-produced products cannot. We hope everything we offer feels connected to the land, the season, and the community that surrounds us here in Central Oregon.

Our vision: growing with nature and community

We hope Rudnick Petals & Provisions continues growing into a beautiful, sustainable family farm that serves our local community for many years to come. In the near future, we plan to expand our flower production with more varieties, especially dahlias, and continue improving the quality and abundance of our seasonal bouquets.

Over time, we also hope to offer more thoughtfully made farm goods such as honey, eggs, herbal teas, and other small-batch provisions that reflect the same care and connection to the land as our flowers.

More than anything, we want the farm to be a place that brings people joy—a place known for beauty, generosity, and simple things done well. We hope to create meaningful work for our family, deepen our connection to the land, and build something that grows naturally alongside our children, our community, and the changing seasons of Central Oregon.

"Rudnick Petals & Provisions brings so much beauty and joy to our community. Their flowers are always fresh and vibrant, and you can truly feel the care put into every bouquet."
